Automated Storage and Retrieval System(AS／RS)has become a sign of enterprise
production automation and management information．The design,optimization and
simulation of AS／RS has become a key in modem logistics technologies．This thesis
analyzed the facilities planning and design of AS／RS firstly．Then，this thesis studied
the optimal cells distribution strategies and the storage and retrieval path optimization of Storage and Retrieval Vehicle(RGV)．Finally,this thesis studied the simulation of AS／RS on the basis of Flexsim simulation soft-ware．
